Abstract:

The aim of the research was to identify the level of psychological loneliness among university students at a university in the liberated areas, and the research sample consisted of (250) university students (120 from meals and 130 from females), and the scale of loneliness and the situation was used by Russel and Dr. Riyadh Al-Asmy, and the research reached the following results:

– The level of psychological loneliness among university students was between medium to high

– There are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the research sample members on the psychological loneliness scale (total score and sub-dimensions). According to the gender variable (male – female).

– There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the research sample individuals on the psychological loneliness scale (total score and sub-dimensions) according to the variable of the academic year (the first two and the last two years) in favor of the first two years.
