Abstract:

This research attempts to reveal the social pattern implicit in the novel The Land of Championships by Abdul Rahman Pasha, through the application of the cultural criticism method.  In order to deduce what the discourse of this novel contains from the implicit patterns that were produced with the production of the novel, they remained hidden in it and consumed by the audience of readers without their knowledge or awareness, or even the awareness of the producer of the discourse himself, however, this is what ensured her immortality and survival, so revealing it requires an additional interpretive effort. The novelist expressed his viewpoint regarding the social life of the Syrian society under the French occupation.
